i red this game related magazine awhile ago. theres a some kind of a preview of the game Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup.. this really pissed me off.. i mean,, im not being bias or something.. but really... here it is..
---------------------------
EA attempts to work its sports magic on a game that doesnt exist. Hey, who are you calling a muggle?
---------------------
However much you like harry potter, you have to admit that Quidditch doesnt make sense.. Its a sport that can only have been invented by a lonely middle-aged woman. what is the point of scoring any points with the quaffle when you get 150 points for catching the snitch.
Its not really a game, its just a plot device to make harry potter look special..and it is.. in every sense of the phrase.. made-up. So the fact that EA has managed to contrive a playable game is a remarkable feat.
EA has seperated the game into two bits: First you play the quaffle game. and once thats finished, its the snitch case.. this actually mean they have much more connection with each other. as the secret to winning it.. is how you manage your boost.
----------------------------
THE VERDICT:
a good translation of a made up game that doesnt work.. and kept relatively simple to suit potter fans..

even futuristic game moho made more sense than quidditch. trust us. thats really saying something..
--------------------------

for me.. they should have chosen a previewer that had red the book.. this guy is surely not a fan.. bcause.. he didnt know that aside from quidditch.. you will gain and lose points too.. he said that whats the use of the quaffle if you can catch the 150 point snitch? the quaffle is like a way to catch up some points.. bcause.. you even if you catched the snitch.. what if you still short on points? (fellow potter fans.. im right right?)
and he said that only a lonely middle aged woman could invent this?? oh my god.. that is so rude to say!! we all know that JK is not that young anymore.. but.. dude! cmon.. its like youre gay!.. Twisted Evil

the writer of that is a pathetic loser with hardly any manners.

at least someone came up with an interesting sport wherein the players can fly. why? is he playing the sport? no! yes of course the sport was not designed for playing but for the amusement of the audience, so whats the point in criticizing it? its not like it can compete anyway with the sports which we have. criticize, if there is a point in criticizing. shut your foul mouth if you have got nothing good to say and it will bring nothing good anyway.

That was a very rude thing for that person to say about JKR.

I think that Quidditch is a very interesting sport and makes plenty of sense.

Of course the quaffle is important, we've seen games end where a team has more points and wins even though the snitch is caught by the other team, as in the Quidditch World Cup. So of course the quaffle is important.

reviewers always have to make cheap shots on stuff they dont understand. even if he read the books he still couldnt put it together cuz he's effing slow, quidditch makes perfect sense and he shouldnt put down someone who is more brilliant and more successful than he is!

I'm a big sports fan and Quidditch is pretty stupid actually. I enjoy it enough in the books and in the movies but if it were a real sport, I would not enjoy it.

Most of the time in the books the games don't even last long enough for anyone to get up by 160 points so like 99% of the time all the other positions are pointless to the game.

I know people are going to bash me for saying this but as a real sport besides seeing the amazing feat of people flying around on brooms, no real sports fan would be interested in it for exactly the reason this guy said.

Sure the points scored by the Quaffle can be used as a tie breaker but the teams only play 3 times a year... I mean they should at least play each team 2 or 3 times and make a championship out of it. But no one would want to read that much qudditch and she isn't the type of author to just skim by something like that by just mentioning who wins, at least when it comes to Gryffindor's matches

That man is one of the rudest people ever! That middle aged woman part was a real low blow! I would like to find him and hit him over the head with my broomstick a couple times!
