I was trying to recall this the other day but couldn't
Was there ever a point in ANY of the HP books where Voldemort/Deatheaters knew where the characters were going because someone was a spy at the portkey/apparation offices and when a location for x character registered for x location, they tipped Voldemort off?
I'm remembering an instance where some character found out where another was because they could check the ministry's lists of people's travels?
Did this happen or am I totally confused?
If so, what book did it happen in and to/with whom?
If it didn't happen - where/how could I have gotten the idea that it did, do you think?
In DH, Pius Thicknesse (then the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement) was under the Imperius curse and made it illegal to apparate, portkey or floo in or out of number 4 Privet Drive, making it impossible for Harry to leave magically without being detected by the Death Eaters. _________________ "What's comin' will come, an' we'll meet it when it does." -- Rubeus Hagrid
you know wat this reminds me of...when in DH um idk who is the minister of magic i forgot...but when he checks some files on people and it says what they have done or their conditions or somthin like that....like i memur when the minister of magic was looking up a fiel on Mr. Weasley and it said the state in which his whole family is in like Ron with that one disease and all.... _________________ NAME: jennfer
