So does anyone else think Cho was on to something when she said Hermione should have told them the list was jinxed? If Marietta knew the list was jinxed she might not have told Umbridge about the DA. Also wouldn't it make more sense to put a memory eraser on the list instead of the SNEAK, that way if anyone said anything they would forget everything before they told (i personally would have put the killing curse on it instead).

hehe... i was thinking of crucio.

of course it would make more sense to do that. but either thats too advanced or hermione wanted to get back at the person who did that.

Well that would have been a good plan but as far as Cho being right? Well she wasn't saying that Hermione should have told them cause she wouldn't have told on them if she did she was just mad her friend got jinxed and is severely jealous of Hermione and Harry's relationship.

Cho is pathetic and petty, she knew how horrible Umbridge was yet she didn't care that Dumbledore was a fugitive on the loose because of her stupid friend.

its not really like she didnt care. i think she kinda felt embarassed that she brought her rotten friend along and was trying to justify why she brought her. then harry started criticizing marietta, which is also perfectly normal on his part. then cho got all offended because he started praising hermione.

Yeah, but she was unjustly jealous of Hermione since the Hogsmeade thing and probably way before obviously. Which isn't fair because they had been friends since their first year. She was annoying when she started asking about Cedric, which wasn't fair to Harry to begin with. Ah, it was never meant to be, lol.

Cho, at that moment in the books, I wanted to crucio her. Badly. She should've known in the first place that Harry didn't WANT to talk about Cedric and that him and Hermione are just friends, that's all. And it was a awful choice telling Professor Fluff-Pink Toad about the DA.

well yeah but it wasnt her fault. i mean, she felt bad about dragging marietta and so tried to justify that mariettta is actually sweet whatever...

and about talking to cedric, well i cant blame her for getting too emtional. he was her boyfriend. you have to be so heartless so as not to cry when your bf dies. and she did want to know if he said anything about her.

like hermione said, what she did wasnt sensible, but when you are overcome by so much emotion and you experience a tragedy, you lose all sensibility and act based on your emtions. ya cant judge her too harshly just for being emtional.

I thought the boil charm or whatever was really good. Remember in Book 6, when Harry see's Marietta on the train, she STILL has the word Sneak on her head. Hermione must have found a very strong spell.

another thing that i thought was odd is that they made a list in the first place. if someone said anything about the organization and/or the list was discovered (like it was) everyone's screwed.

Well, the mistake they made was putting it in the room, like they needed other people to know. I thought Hermione would just like, hide it somewhere in her room. Stupid girl...

maybe she shpuld have done what the other students did with the quibbler and made it resemble extracts from their books if anyone but them saw the list.

she seemed more intent on getting bck at the sneak than protecting the group
