Oh damn CROOKSHANKS is a MALE... Did you read the Quote what GinnyX just posted? Tha is in the Austrlian paper back edition aswell and HE is a MALE

lol, I still instinctually say her, too. It's hard to change after calling it a her for all of those years.

hehhe...oh yea... i am just so silly....
see its just a fact to me that crookshanks is a male.. but then i have always n always referred to him as her...
so..grr..it is bit confusing some times.. you know usually we tend to refer cats as female.. and dogs and lions as males...
our mind is fixed... just like in spanish we have defined a gender for every object... so sometimes we do it for creatures aswell...

I think Ron would just have to put up with Crookshanks. I don't see Hermione giving up her pet for him. Besides, it would be awhie until tehy lived just the two of them, anyway.

What would he have done with pig, Cleo? Do you think that he just ate him for lunch one day when he was hungry? Honestly, Ron got annoyed with the bird sometimes, but I definately think that he had affection for the bird. If for no other reason, then because he was given to him by Harry's god-father.
