At least she has some 'substance' in the movies, and in the books she's really nice.

I know that might not go with the public's opinions, but I don't like her a lot. I find her nothing special to be precise and matching with my vote, whereas I find other characters more interesting... Ginny is just your average next door teenager.

i think that ginny is definately better in the books than the films, i feel that bonnie wright does an awesome job portraying her in GoF where she had some very Ginnyesque lines there, other than that the producers totally butchered her influence from the films, i just the HBP film is much more accurate in the sense of her character.
