oMg . . . just pick a scene, and I'm sure that it will be different than it is in the book. Not much is the same. I'm not sure what kind of differences you are looking for . . . Do you mean like missing characters, changes in characters, differences in words . . . There is so much that it just feels like overload. If you could narrow this down, then I could pick out some key passages for you.

haha, i picked what to do for the project so i could do anything...

I was just basically like analyzing the whole movie. I'm about halfway done now and it seems to me like it IS overload. I have about 35 differences right now. A lot is missing chapters, missing characters, butchered scenes, order of the scenes, and I think that is it, but it's like WOAH! lol

You're going to ruin the whole paper if you put all of that in! You need to stick to a maind idea, and explain that in your thesis.

Choose ONE thing such as:

Harry's relationship with others (and don't use EVERY ONE -- just the important oner)

Differences in character development.

Character you feel were important who were left out.

Maybe just a main idea that you feel was important that was left out (ie. S.P.E.W.)

Difference in clothing

I really think that Snape's worst memory would be good, if you are allowed to just focus on one area in the book. Maybe you could even incorporate into something about the development of Harry's relationships with others. I really like the realationship topic. You could write a killer paper on that.

Maybe there is something else that I haven't mentioned that sticks out like a sore thumb in you mind.

Your going to fry your brain and receive a poor grade for trying to do too much in your paper if you don't take my advice.

This is going to be the power point presentation of death! People are going to be falling asleep before you even get half-way through.

Don't you compoes your power points on paper before you actually put it into the computer? Maybe I'm just from the old school . . . Kids these days . . . Every thing is electronic for them . . . Wink

How are you ever going to fit all of that information onto 6 or 7 slides?

My advice to you would be to sort it intoi categories. Have two slides for characters (who met/didn't meet your expectations, important characters that were left out, acting critiques, etc.), two slide for plotlines (This should be a no-brainer, seeing as everything was out of order and several scenes were entirely wrong.), and two slides for all the little details that the movie got wrong that just irritate the crap out of hard-core fans like you and me (like broomstick convoy flying in plain site of muggles or the Prophecy playing as soon as Harry picked it up.) If you want, you can even make a slide on which one was better (the book, of course) and why.

Then again, I don't know the criteria for this project. You have to put in what the teacher is looking for.
