I love this movie so much!

Brilliant acting by Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, Kirsten Dunst and Tom Cruise [which it pains me to say]

Words cannot express how much i love this movie. Is anyone else a fan?

I own it and enjoy it on occasion. It suffers for me simply because those aren't my 'type' of vampire - but it is a well done movie. And I like Lestat listening to Sympathy for the Devil in the car at the end. Laughing

I know, it pains me to think it. Sad But alas, he was good in it.

I thought that movie was great.

he was a painfully horrible lestat

the movie in itself was good.. brad did louie justice. but it was a mockery to lestat fans to have TC play him so badly.

the other lestat was better but not right either. i dunno who i would choose to play him but TC was so not right for it.

*ponders who would be a good lestat*

I have never read the book, so I have nothing to compare it to. Objectionally speaking, he was good.

I did enjoy that film, but I do beleive that vampires should be evil and terrifying to look at, not something sexual and seductive, all though some of the female vampires pull it off very nicely. Very Happy

you see i liked the series because i have always pictured vampires as humanoid. so they can walk amungst their victims un noticed. many different cultures describe vampires as loved ones who have passed and were out for revenge or not buried correctly so i have always pictured them as humanoid.

Same. I could never get into the books. I find Rice's writing style to be extremely boring. But I loved this movie. Tom Cruise is annoying, to say the least, but he was pretty good in this. In fact, I think this is the only movie I've ever liked Tom Cruise in.

Overall pretty good movie, and that's a lot from me, since I think "vampires" are, well, lame.

I love vampires but not the frilly shirted romantic ones that whine about their lives. I like vampires that are what they are and do what they do, no apologies. (<3 30 Days of Night)
