How would Dobby come and save them? They cut the mirror out of OotP, so I doubt it will be in DH... They'll probably just have them break out when Wormtail opens the door or something lame like that.

^^^^Good point. They need to fix some things obviously though. Perhaps with a "flashback" scene at the beginning? It's goofy perhaps but it might work. I'd prefer that to just leaving it out altogether.

Do people still exist who have watched the movies but not read the books?

Yes, of course. I know a couple of people who do.

lol . . . Even the movies spell that one out . . . Literally, Tom spelled it out with his wand! How could she have missed it? Does she know how to read?

lol, nah, I think that would be way too much of a spoiler. She'll find out when the HBP movie comes out. There was a point when we weren't sure why his looks were altered, either.

He gives it to Harry before he goes back to school, just like in the book.

I think for the second film to pick up it would work.. but I'm not sure about the ending for the first one... it still seems awkward to me. Unless they cut Dobby out of this film, too.

If they take out Dobby i will kill Yates.

Dude, I'll back ya up.

I'll back both of you up!

in this scene he just tells him about the family tree and harry tells him that he fears he becoming like voldy.. nthing more...

he hugs him n hermione says its time to go...

thats it.. no mirror given.. no knife given either wich could open up the locks....

Yeah, I realized thatafter I posted and couldnt edit it. Itwas just such a perfectplace for him to give Harry the mirror... and they really dropped the ball. In the book thatis the spot where he does give harry the mirror, just before he leaves. I have no idea what made the film makers think they didn't need the mirror, when they had a scene and obviously time to in the movie to have the mirror exchange take place.

Apparently they didn't realize they would need it in DH. On the other hand, now they have the perfect excuse to cut Dobby out. Sad
