Lol who knows? Just a small island. I dont kno if this is still true (High chance that it ISN'T ) but back when I was watchin the first season when it aired on tellivision, my brother told me that he heard rumours that they were supposed to be in PURGATORY. U kno the place that religious ppl believe u go to BEFORE u go to heavan? Like a sort of place were u WAIT before u go. So, I thought that was a cool idea. All of em r dead and in PARADISE ISLAND and they dont KNOW it. But I don't think that it's true as people who are further into the series will know more than I do . _________________ "The Scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. I watched it for one season or so but then I got really frustrated. It seems that there'll never be any answers! It's quite amazing how they can do so many seasons about an area this small. They're never going to get out of the island are they? Ok, I know they will, but still. It would have been a good serie if they would have kept it in one season, but of course they do it as long as it makes money.
Okay, this is only my opinion, please don't offend.
Well thanks to Rorschach for getting me INTO Lost by telling me how wrong I was, I went out and bought season 1 on DVD today so I'll start watchin it and see if my judgement will change
Yeah, you better change your judgment, or else I’m going to skin you alive!

Nah, it’s not Purgatory. The writers show down that theory a while after the show started.

HUGE SPOILERS FOR SEASONS 3 AND 4. DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU’RE NOT WATCHING THE SHOW AND HAVE NO INTEREST IN WATCHING IT.
Spoiler:
Six people get off the Island. And their stories are told through flash forwards.
And like I said before, you can’t fit the entire show into one season.
Spoiler:
Some answers are given. Such as the identity of the others, what the others wanted with Clare, why Kate is a fugitive, etc.
I like Lost a lot. The 4th season started last Thursday here in Finland. I really enjoy watching every Thurday eve tahat magical show. _________________ Harry Potter ja kuoleman varjelukset

I knew it was Locke in the coffin, it was obvious. What really gave it away was when Ben was saying he warned you not to leave, etc. etc.
My theory is, when the bring Locke back to the island, he will come back to life. _________________ Follow, please follow me home

Locke is already alive on the island. It's like the doctor, the guys kill him AFTER the Losties see him wash up dead on the shore. Time goes slower on the island, plus with all the time traveling stuff, it backs up my theorie

They aren't on the island when you see Locke in the casket. The theory of the island being behind in time doesn't apply if they aren't on the island. _________________ Follow, please follow me home
