I found it to be typical. It's just the kind of thing that a 16 year old will do to make someone jealous and get attention. Ron only wanted to get Hermione's upset. At that age, teenagers lack the maturity to express their feelings openly. They play little head games most of the time.

I think this is the part that i most disliked of the book, it is not because it was poorly written, because the book was great overall. But i kept thinking man! Stop being so inmature! Gosh. It annoyed the hell out of me but come to think about it it had to be done because it made Hermione and Ron realize the feeling for each other and Lavender well...Poor girl haha...

I thought the whole thing was kind of funny - the whole Hermione attacking Ron with a flock of birds, Lavender calling Ron Won-Won - it's just i don't think they should have snogged that much - imagine Molly walking in on Ron and Lavender trying to suck each other's lips off now that's funny, or maybe it's just because i have a twisted sense of humor _________________ "WAR IS PEACE
