Ok, so... I'm not quite finished with The Memory Keeper's Daughter yet, but it has gotten much better. It is actually a really sad and fundamentally shaking story! If anyone is wanting to read a good book that makes you delve into your own depths I would suggest this as the perfect book. It makes you think about what you would do in many difficult situations. I have discovered many new things about myself from it!

I enjoyed this one myself!

I enjoyed it as well. I just found it rather difficult to get through, with the writing style the author uses. It was confusing me. At one point I flung the book accross the room because I couldn't figure out what was going on in the story! It was just really frustrating with the random flashbacks!

I'm currently re-reading Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer (I already re-read the ones before this one.)

In audio books I'm in half-blood prince.

I'm reading too many books at the same time, but i've decided to just read one at the moment and some HP fanfics.

So i was reading Charlie bone book 1, Harry potter and the Goblet of fire again for i don't know how many times, Lord of the rings the fellowship of the ring (having trouble getting into it because i think the opening chapter is very slow), and Pirates of the Caribbean the trilogy and lionboy(was read POTC and Lionboy at school but i graduated early, and i basically stopped reading them even though i enjoyed them)

I want to read the golden compass.

Could someone tell me if the book Eragon is good. I've seen the film version but a lot of people say the film version is crap compared with the book version.

And if anyone can be arsed could someone give me a few more good fantasy books that i could read?

I enjoyed Eragon, but it is a huge rip off of Star Wars!!!! if you dont like that type of thing, i wouldnt suggest it. plus, anytime you bad mouth Eragon on anyother cite (Chicago trib... etc.) you post gets deleted immidiately!!! its really wierd. kinda makes me think conspearacy, but no clue. all i know is that something wierd is happening to it.

as for other books you could read, I highly suggest The Book of Flying!
and the Mistress of Dragons trilogy, im on the third book.

Eco-Freaks by John Berlau. Don't ask why-it is a horrible book. Big surprise-I made the endnotes. What a hoot.
