When Dumbledore was explaining Harry the prophecy he said the Dark Lord knows now the way to destroy Potter. What is it then? Does anyone know? I can't understand what the prophecy gave to the Dark Lord...
I think it might have somthing to do with breaking that love barrier that harrys mum gave him not really sure through _________________

Voldemort is starting to know Harry, I mean he already used Ginny and Sirius to lure Harry.
He knew that Harry would try to save them.
By using people he'll try to get to Harry.

Wasn't that kind of 86'd in the fourth book? Voldemort wanted Harry's blood so he could overcome the love barrier and touch Harry (which he could after he got the blood). So, why does Harry still have to stay with the Dursleys after that? Well, Voldemort can touch Harry, but only outside No.4, Privet Drive (until he turns 17). You see, if Harry's at the Dursleys' place, Voldy can't touch him, but he can now, in the 7th book, when Harry turns 17. It's to keep Harry safe when he's not in Hogwarts.

Plus, Voldy has Harry's blood running through his veins; blood from the person that protected Harry, all those years ago (Lily). So that is one thing less that Harry doesn't have that can protect him; even if by living with the Dursley's until he comes of age.
This may be way off but I just thought of it. Voldemort may think he knows how to kill Harry. Love. Harry was protected by it and know how to give it.
In Voldemort'e mind the idea may have came up to kill Harry by killing his friends, the people he loves.

I thought DD put that barrier there.... Because if Lilly did it then if Volde was IN num. 4 then he could hurt Harry... Or any where else... Cause Volde would have Harrys blood in him... Well it means he knew he didn't think that ancient magic would prevent him from killing Harry so now he knows that he needs to use something to counter ancient magic or blood. Also the prophecy tells him about him and Harry's relationship.
