I think that each part will be about 2 and a half hours long. I only say this because i read on Leaky that Steve Kloves said that they had to decide wether to do a 4 and half hour to a 5 hour film or to just split them in half.

I disagree with the person who said that the last 3 potter films were bad, i think that they were all good and i'm a fan of the books as well.

I want quality, too... I think if it's too short it will be a let down. I want quality and quantity.

Yates is going to cut the nonsense.

Oopt was the largest book and the movie was short!

But it worked out wonderfully.

Im sure 1 30 mins or 1 45 mins is sufficient.

I disagree, I thought he left out a lot of important points in OotP.

How they did GoF without Winky and Dobby is beyond me. They were such plot devices, I am amazed they managed the script without them, when JKR obviously needed them.

If they are going to split the movie in TWO parts wouldnt a sensible blace to halve it be the middle? or would you want the first half or second half to go longer... Another way to do it would be to halve it at the end of the middle Chapter/Scene

You need to stop a movie at a good point.. a point thatis a cliffhanger, but noting too dramatic. And you need to starta movie before there is a major conflict, not in the middle of one. Finding the perfect moment is tough....It's an art, really.

Well i think the best part to do that is when they infiltrate malfoy manor to save Ollivander

They don't infiltrate the manor, they get captured. They had no intentions of saving Ollivander, they were captured themselves.
