omg. off topic a bit..
i thought it was really cool how when she was dropping the crystal balls, she saved her most dedicated student (lavender) from either being killed or turned into a werewolf by greyback...lol. i loved it.
but. on the topic of her fleeing and such. i believe snape was able to protect her, he knew she would of been in danger. how much he knew was is a different subject altogether. _________________

| With the Carrows and Snape running the school, Voldemort probably didn't see the need to capture her. He had more important things to focus on, and perhaps Snape even convinced Voldemort she wasn't worth the effort (on Dumbledore's portrait's orders probably). |

| Did Voldemort even know that it was Trelawney was the one who originally gave the prophecy? If so you think he would have gotten his hans on her sooner to get the whole scoop. |

Obviously Voldemort knew (Snape probably told him), that's why Dumbledore was keeping her safe and didn't let Umbridge throw her out of the castle. _________________ "I can make things move without touching them. I can make bad things happen to people who are mean to me." -- Tom Riddle (HBP movie).

snape overheard the prophecy and knew it was trelawny the one who had made it, so he told voldy
dumbledore, knowing snape had overheard, hired trelawny even though he knew she was lame and kept making fake prophecies, both for her safety since she would be staying in the castle and because they would have an advantage over voldemort if he didnt know the whole prophecy
the thing is, when dumbledore died and then snape became the headmaster, we dont know what trelawny did to keep away from voldy, who still didnt know the whole prophecy _________________
