Are you connecting from a different computer than you did earlier? Typically an error like that means you're behind a firewall? Do you have one? McAffee, Norton, etc.?
Also, try the Flash chat too. Go back to the first page on this topic.

mIRC is definitely the best IRC program out there. But I wouldn't say it's very "new user" friendly.
Either way, typically if someone can't connect with one program, they can't connect with another.

I was going to post an update on the "bot" attack, but the IRC staff seem to have that taken care of already, which of course is a good thing.

sometimes my ice chat just freezes randomly and it just loses internet connection. anyways to solve will be appreciated

It most likely has to do with your internet connection, but could also have to do with your PC performance. Do you get disconnected a lot with java and flash as well? Do you have lots of other programs open in the background when trying to use Ice Chat?

no i don't use them, only icechat and i think my network is ok except when i open icechat and after like 10 min it freezes.I think uninstalling the prog might solve the problem

You might have more actually running in the background than you think, which would cause problems. Nevertheless, there are simpler IRC clients out there that don't require as much memory to run, such as ChatZilla through Mozilla Firefox.

You guys being really stupid for ban evading me which in this case banning me from wyldryde. Can anyone explain what was the thing that was bothering you guys that made you ban me. Was it the fact that i was mad at people calling me younger or something else that i called someone that hurt them in anyways.
