I also had the jitters when the Order come and pick him up. I was sad that Lupin wasn't there to pick up Harry. What was odd was that why would the Order stand in the middle of a road and wait for their brooms to materialise out of nowhere and suddenly fly into Thames, dodging a boat full of muggles. Surely the whole point of the trip was to minimise the exposure of the Wizarding World, and of course the escort of Harry Potter safely to Grimmuald Place.

I thought about them flying by the muggle boat as well. Weird, it does seem as that would have been a red flag to the muggles, that some people on brooms just flew by.

It was well done, however too many scenes were cut out. Didn't enjoy it that much.

They cut WAY too much out. I was horribly dissapointed. I mean, I watched this with people who haven't read the books and I kept having to explain everything.

"Harry's not really expelled. He has to go to a hearing and they'll decide whether or not he's expelled there."

"Umbridge is supposed to almost catch Sirius. That's why they're having the questioning."

"Ron is on the Quidditch team now. He's a Chaser."

"Dobby is supposed to tell Harry about the Room of Requirement."

"Dobby is supposed to warn them all about Umbridge. Then everyone scatters."

"Harry, Fred, and George were banned from Quidditch. Their brooms were locked up and that's why Fred and George are gonna prank Umbridge."

"There's supposed to be an indoor swamp in this scene. Plus, the fireworks are supposed to last all day and multiply by ten every time Umbridge tries to get rid of them. Then they tell everyone 'there's special discounts for anyone who uses their joke shop products against this old bat!'"

If you want to get rid of anyone get rid of Daniel he's crap and Emma isn't much better I Hate this movie and part of me is dreading going to see the next one another vital thing missed out that will totally confuse anyone who can't be bothered to read such a long book is the Percy thing.

Spoiler:

In the book Percy walks out because he got promoted to Fudges personal assistant when he tells his Mr Weasly he thinks he will be please. Wrong Mr Weasly thinks Fudge wants Percy there to spy on his family because he wants anyone close to Dumbledore out and Fudge suspects The Weaslys. Percy however is totally shocked at this and has a argument saying Dumbledore is wrong witches and wizards should put there faith into the ministry no Dumbledore he also says Harry is lying and he has had to put with Mr Weasly lousy reputation since he joined the ministry. in the end he walks out. Now skipping this causes 2 problems
1. When the DA is found you see Percy dragging Harry into Dumbledore office and i have spoken to some people who haven't read the book and don't understand why a Weasly is helping Umbridge.
2. Percy comes back in the seventh book and walks into his family Fred & George are having a laugh about how he ditched the ministry to come back to his family not paying attention so Fred gets killed. Percy then goes crazy and tries to go after the person who did it.

all i can say is when they do the seventh movie David Yates better not be the director and we better have someone excellent so the can fix all his mistakes

he's keeper but yeah i agree they took out all of rons glory i mean prefects and quidditch!!

also the thing with mrs figg it didn't explain who she was that she had been in harrys life from a really young age but he never knew she was a squib he just thought she was "a batty old lady" that liked cats and looked after him

well some of the stuff were original, but due to bad direction, it just completely destroyed the movie

the part that totally distroyed it for me was the umbridge thing. It was over in like 20 mins. but they also dragged it out a bit too much.

i dunno if that makes sence but like they shoved all of this stuff into like 20 mins, and for a movie that is dragged out. and then that was kinda it. i think there should have been some quiddich.

I actually think its the second-worst in the series of the movies so far, I think the third was actually the worst because it had no meaning and was just the borinest for me. But thats mine and whoever agrees, you feel the same way.

I agree this was the worst movie so far. The epic battle between Voldemort and Dumbledore played out a bit more dramatic in my mind than it did in the film. Plus, I can't get over how bad the new Dumbledore is in comparison to the original.

Btw, what a review! You should be a critic for a newspaper.

for me OoTP was a big let down it was by far my favorite book I was really looking forward to seeing the twins pranks and seeing Harry look into the pensive and seeing Snape's past. And neither one of those things happened Fred and George set off a few fireworks and that was about it no real mayham and pretty much all of Snape's past was cut out they didn't even show the scene with him insulting Lily.

I mean it was a good movie in it's own right but it definatly didnt come close to living up to the book
