I'm reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. The diction can get annoying, but other than that, it isn't bad.

I'm allmost finished Memoirs of A Geisha. I absolutely love the book but I'm really worried the movie will emphasis the graphic scenes and romance to a point of it circulating around their sex lives.

Have you seen the movie? I don't exactly care about the sex now I'm done reading it but is there any nudity or whatever?

There is a little bit of nudity in it, but it is really disturbing to see all the actions played out. It made my stomach turn.

There are a few scenes that could be construed as rape, and I believe in one of the opening scenes they get really graphic with one of the geishas.

Ok, so... I'm not quite finished with The Memory Keeper's Daughter yet, but it has gotten much better. It is actually a really sad and fundamentally shaking story! If anyone is wanting to read a good book that makes you delve into your own depths I would suggest this as the perfect book. It makes you think about what you would do in many difficult situations. I have discovered many new things about myself from it!
