I had to think about that for awhile, I think I would really like Lupin in real life, he seems like the kinda guy I would think of as my big brother or mentor, the kind of guy I could talk to about anything, he is really friendly, and knows what he's talking about

Moody OF COURSE. It's a wonder to me no one has voted for Mad Eye...  He owns every kind of dark wizard in the books, he's filled out half of Azkaban, his personality "NOT HERE YOU NUB!!1" *transform to random four-legged animal* (even if that was the fake one, meh :p) is truely adorable...
Also, with all this char romance - Ginny/Harry, Severus/Lily, Bellatrix/Voldemort, Ron/Hermione, I wanted a character who would not be weakened by such crap. This is why I get so bitey when someone does a "Moody+???" topic. Some people must remain single, that's why I love Moody. ^_^
