Ok, i have a little theory about dumbledore.
Ok first of all, he was a powerful wizard, probobly the best of his time. Which really bugs me because when draco used a spell to rid of dumbledores wand, im sure that dumbledore had the power to retreive it. Which kinda tells me that he may have wanted to be killed.
Im sure that he would not want to let harry try and find the remaining horcux's unguided. So here is my theory:
I think that dumbledore may be a horcrux (i know, shocking right?). But it does make good sense. Throughout the entire 6th book, he wanted to know what voldemort did to make him so powerful. And he wanted to know the secrets of the horcrux's. And during his last night, when harry realized it, he was speaking in a different language. And we never found out what the purpose of him speaking in that language was. Im sure that voldemort had to also do a spell like that to make a horcux. And we all know for a fact that JK doesn't put something in her stories without a purpose. It makes perfect sense to me. Anybody got opinions?
P.S. I think that if he did make a horcux, he put in within fox. Because when he laid dead, a burning pheonix arose. |

well that does have some good theorys in it to think about but i do not think that he would want to kill someone to make a horcrux but why would he want one?

| i have thought about that, and maybe he could find a way to get around that...or maybe he casted a spell that had the same effects as a horcrux |

| But the Phoenix could have arose for a different reason. A Phoenix was Dumbledore's most favorite animal. It was even his Patrnous (info from JK's site) |

| well....i have the same thread at snitchseeker.com...and they all agree that he would never create a horcrux....but im sure that there was a way that he could make one without killing someone. |

| I don;t think so. JK isnt going to change something she said just for Dumbledore. Dumbledore wasn't an evil wizard, and horcruxes were for evil people. I think that Dumbledore would have wanted to die. He had no reason to stay around. |

| but people thought the same thing with Sirius and Siruis didn't. Dumbledore died, and it was going to happen. Maybe he just died, and he didn't leave any clues behind or anything like that, Maybe he just wanted to die. |

| Thanks. I am just trying to say, maybe JK doesn't want him to come back, doesn't him to take place in the book at all. I think that JK used Dumbledore in the first 6 books to train Harry and guide him for the 7th book. She knew what was coming, just like we did, so now Harry has no one to lead him. But, JK made it to where Harry wasn't alone. He organized the order, so there are people to help Harry. He also has ron and Hemrione. |
