It was both, wans't it? The door and the wall, depending on which side of the wall you were on.

My bad, let me rephrase that.
I thought they had blown up one of the walls, but not the one where the door was.

i find that stupid, because the room of requirement shouldnt have been able to be broke into. it has all those magical enchantments placed on it.

i thought they should have stuck to the book, and how Dobby came and warned them. why did they have to exclude Dobby from this movie? :'(

Looking at it from a movie only standpoint, I don't understand why Umbridge needed Cho (or any other DA members) to tell her where it was. They already knew where it was, they just couldn't get into it. Also I was expecting a fight at that scene too.

Umbridge blew up the wall where the door was supposed to be. Where Filch was sitting all the time. So the door wasn't there. They only blew the wall up. But it's Hogwarts, so either Dumbledore or the room itself, will fix itself.

that totally drifted away from the book. Doesn't this part then contradict the movie itself?

When Filch, Malfoy and Co were running towards the door and fortunately run into a broomstick cupboard, but at the same time... the fellow DAs were in that same room performing magic inside the same walls. But then, how can Umbridge just burst the wall by force? The Room of Requirement is "only equipped for the seekers needs".

They'll either pretend it didn't happen OR they make it appear to have healed itself..

what ever they do, they screwed up on it.

Did they read the book???
Did they read how the wall IS NOT blow up???
