how on earth did wormtail get in griffindor? did the sorting hat make a mistake? or did the sorting hate make the right decision for him at the time but then wormy changed??? hmmmm i dont know which house owrmy actually belongs in. he has no griffindor in him. hes not evil enough to be a slytherin and he doesnt exactly seem so smart. the only house i can remotely imagine him in is hufflpeuff.........hufflepuff is for people who are loyal and hardowrking...........peter wasnt loyal to his friends but he was loyal to voldermort.....it took him alot of hardwork to get voldy back to lyfe.........so what house od you think he should of been in and how do you think he got in gryffindor? oh and a quessie thats been bugging me..........what house was mad-eye in?

I think that he wanted to be in gryffindo, and what a person wants is taken into consideration. He doesn't really show the treasured qualities of the other houses, so it really wouldn't make sense no matter which house he was put into.

I don't think it has to do with WHAT you are, I think it has to do with what you value.
Hermone was very smart, but she WASN'T sorted into Ravenclaw. Not because she wasn't sorted, but possibly because she was brave, maybe because she valued bravery... maybe just because she valued bravery.

Also, DD said, perhaps we sort too soon.

yes of course, ppl can change from what they are when they are 11 to, say when they are in their 20s

i think it definately has to do with what you value in life and it quite possible that what Peter valued in hogwarts had changed to what he valued when he became a death eater.
