I dunno.
It's amazing how many people have different perspectives of Draco.

Well - he WANTED to be Potter's friend at the begining... He just choose wrong words to propose it Razz But hey! What do you expect from a boy raised to be the exact copy of his father? For all the 11 years before Hogwarts he was raised to be arrogant, selfish, money-loving, muggle-hating boy. It's not so easy to just forget all about it... He was under a lot of pressure from his parents... Of course I don't think that he was all nice and dandy but he HAD TO keep appearances... His whole world would crumble if he didn't... All that he knew and believed in... All he did was to be aknowledged by his father...
He didn't want to be Voldie's sidekick out of his own free will... It was because of Lucius AND fear...
Spoiler:

I really found it sweet when during the last battle Malfoys didn't care about fighting but run around looking for their son... They DID care about each other in their own Malfoy way... And Narcissa.... She actually lied to the Dark Lord for the sake of her son...

I always wonder what it would be if Harry took his hand at the beginning...

I wanted to write a fanfic about it.

I can guarantee that if he decided to be friends with Draco, he'd have been in Slytherin.

Yeah, and they would be the best friends ever and pick on all mudbloods in the school xD

Lol... Dunno if I make a wise decision to point it out... but... It's Draco who always had been a looser Razz

I mean - he was constantly loosing with Golden Trio >_> And his 'friends' also didn't turn out to be so great as he claimed ^^;

He had his story, true, but Harry made much better decisions than he.

But of course, when we consider fanfiction, it's another story ^^

And don't get me wrong, cause I luv Draco as hell xD

I think that Draco is a coward. But i give him credit for more than he needs. I think people just think of him as a whimp who only needs attention. I think different. He is mis-understood. Trying to take under his fathers footsteps in the first few books and than realizing he doesnt have to do so. He is really confused and different from everyone else.

That's stupid to hate someone because you don't like their hair... Confused Draco's fine I like him. If they don't like Draco because of his hair...does that mean they don't like Lucius because his hair is the same too...just longer...if so that's plain stupid.

Dude!
They were like,
'OH WE LIKE LUCIUS BECAUSE HE HAS LONG HAIR AND HE WOULD LOOK HOT IN A PONYTAIL.'

It was kind of a facepalm moment.

lol. I think the reason Draco gave Ron and his family so much sh*t because his father made him. I mean his father is a strong, pure blood wizard as well as a death eater. He's probably scared of his dad and wants to make him proud. Draco's misunderstood, you only ever see one side of him and if you saw the other you'd probably find that he's just another kid trying to make his parents proud. Plus he is sexy and I ♥ his hair, it rocks.

nope, he admired his father, he wasnt scared of him, just respected him
for that admiration he copied his father in a lot of ways, but it was him who decided to go insult ron and his family and with no scary incentive, he was just an ass

I don't believe that Draco is as evil as he lets on. He would have killed Dumbledore if he was truly evil. He is probably a smart boy, and like some have said, confused because his family is comprised of Death Eaters.

I've always wondered, who does he marry? I can't see him loving/ being close to anyone but his family.

He marries Astoria Greengrass.... Daphne Greengrass's younger sister.

Was this mentioned in an interview? I'm not really sure I like how JKR can tell the public what happens after Hogwarts, and we have to believe her..because we really can't prove the author wrong...

Yeah, she said so in the Leaky Cauldron's podcast, Pottercast.

Sue Upton (SU): We have to ask this, or we'll get yelled at: Draco Malfoy. (JKR: Yeah?) did he graduate, and who did he marry? It wasn't Pansy right? Or was it?

J.K. Rowling (JKR): No! God, it wasn't Pansy Parkinson! I loath that girl. (JN and SU laugh) I don't love Draco, but I really dislike her. She's every girl who ever teased me at school. She's the anti-Hermione. I loathe her. Yes, sorry, sidetracked there by my latent bitterness...

SU: (laughs) No, it's awesome!

JKR: Yeah, he married Astoria Greengrass.

SU: Really? Check her name. Love it!

Melissa Anelli (MA): Greengrass sounds familiar.

JKR: Younger sister of Daphne, so she's two years younger then he was at Hogwarts and you- Yeah, anyway, there you are. That's who he marries.

Member of a few sites? Nah, just ask me, I can help you! Smile

But yeah, some other sites do have lots of interesting stuff. If you look in our Great Hall section a few of us try to post up a bunch of Harry Potter related news and stuff like that. But really, if you have any questions, feel free to pm me. I can also show you a few good HP news sites. Smile

I've been reading around and it seems like you do know your stuff about Harry Potter. (Shock that you got one question wrong on a quiz) I don't know if you have a Facebook account, but I hold Supreme God status on the Harry Potter trivia...thankfully there aren't many questions about stuff not in the books.
