The book is peppered with those moments, but we couldn't do that quite so easily in the film.
So (the extra scene) comes in the middle of the film and it just reminds us the world is no longer a safe place. Even in what would normally be considered the safe haven of the Burrow, nobody's safe. |
Hm... that sounds okay, but wasn't the Prime Minster scene the whole point of showing the moviegoers that even in the muggle world... it isn't safe? Ah well, as long as JK Rowling is fine with it, then so should I.

I hope they do good with this movie... this scene better be good.
And yeah, I guess they didn't want to be bothered with the Prime Minister scene. They had announced previously that they were going to cast Scrimgeour. I suppose this is is heir own way of showing that the magical world and the muggle world, no matter how different, are still connected.

i dont think jk really had any saying if she approved or not, she prolly just say yeah okay w/e you butchering my series anyways so more power to ya!
okay maybe not that bad... im just getting jittery about how this movie is going to come out... like i was for the fifth movie..

This part isn't in the book, though. It was included to get the point across in a different way than the book does.

Yep, thats true. But I was confused as to why they didn't included the Prime Minister scene. This part could be equivalent to this new added scene and it will do the book some justice (also the book fans).

It seems like there's going to be more than one extra scene added to the movie. Following from Natalia's (who plays Tonks) interview, she said she'll only appear in the scenes where they get attacked by Death Eaters in the Burrow at Christmas!!!
What a joke!

this character deserved much more than this... tonks is such a character..oh man...
so there wont be much of tonks-lupin thing..??
