Really. Why didn`t he? I think because, book says - before Snape could do anything more than yell the snake had encased him. Oh, poor Sevy. I more think that Potter could do something. Kill the snake or attack Voldemort from underneath his cloak. And then together they`d have defeated him. I mean, there was also Hermione.
I can`t get over it too. He was so ... good! Just like I can`t get over Sirius`s death...

Yeah, I know... That's why it's only a dream... I'm just frustrated cause I think Snape could've feel (even a little) that Voldemort wanted to kill him... Evan I felt it while reading and I suck at occlumency ;___;

Don't remind me... Damn... I'd have covered him with my own body in their place... Ok, maybe they just thought he was evil and such, after all Harry DID see him killing Dumbledore, and for Harry he was nothing more than the rest of Death Eaters, maybe even worse... And I guess Voldemort's presence also kinda discouraged them from doing anything. I mean if they screwed up then, there might have been totally different outcome of the war... But stil...
That death was so stupid.... without sense... Just like Sirius'. I mean - hey? He fell behind bloody curtains >_> I was so shocked after this scene, that I stopped reading for half a day. I felt so much disappointment...

You`re right. He WAS just another Death Eater for them, but STILL!! He was a human... and.. and... UGH!!.
And Sirius... I could cry again. I always cry watching OotP and when there`s that part when Sirius says: "After all this we`ll become a real family. You`ll see." OMG!!!
His death was NONSENSE!

Yeah... After all Harry wanted to give another chance EVEN to Voldemort... But I guess if they were discovered it wouldn't do good for their mission... I think they were aware of that. Harry wouldn't want anyone die in his presence. While they were fleeing at the begining of the book - he didn't want to kill anyone - just stun... I'm sure that in any other circumstances, he would try to save Snape no matter what...
