|
|
DH chapter 32 (The Elder Wand):
| Quote: |
Two bodies fell from the balcony overhead as they reached the ground a gray blur that Harry took for an animal sped four-legged across the hall to sink its teeth into one of the fallen.
“NO!” shrieked Hermione, and with a deafening blast from her wand, Fenrir Greyback was thrown backward from the feebly struggling body of Lavender Brown. |
It seems that Greyback had transformed (so there must have been a full moon) but then why didn't Lupin transform? |

Fenrir was not transformed. I think that his looks and actions had become similar to that of a wolf over the years, because he embraced that part of himself more than his human side. When Harry looked, he saw Fenrir moving quickly towards lavendar, and it seemed like a four-legged animal. That was just at a glance. Fenrir must have been walking in more of a hand-and-foot sort of way. _________________

It's clear that he wasn't in werewolf form. The gray was most likely from his hair or robes. Running on all fours seems to be his default attack demeanor even as a human.

A Zen said, Greyback embraced his werewolf side, and acted as an animal most of the time. _________________

poor Zenny... we all do it once in awhile... It's from typing to much. Or, at least, thats my excuse. After awhile you start to get a feel for what people meant to say. _________________

nup. i disagree,
i think that because fenrir likes bein a werewolf, he can almost transform at will, so he can become like a wolf, but if he bites u [like bill] u wont become a werewolf. |

he doesnt transform into a werewolf at will, he sort of uses the werewolf's agressive instincts to attack when he's not one, thats why bill couldnt possibly become a real werewolf _________________
