never saw that! but yeah he might be. if he isn't and he's only taunting about Lupin was James's friend, then he knows a lot about her.. and vrey personal stuff indeed. and she attended hogwarts when he was teatching. beware the student/teacher relantionship

Did she? In what way?
I don't think if they had a relationship it would have been while she was at Hogwarts, I think it would have been when she graduated.
Gosh this is such a hopeless ship:

I was reading this article and someone had a quote form JK that said she used Tonks and Lupin's relationship as a red herring.
Now this article made me laugh because this person had convince herslef that Tonks is actually Wormtail.
You know what, I'll just copy and paste it here.

I have got an alternative explanation for this on my mind since a long time, actually, since my first read of HBP. Believe it or not, I think Tonks might be Wormtail in disguise.
At an early stage the book offers a first class clue for that idea – at least, I think so. We meet Tonks for the first time in chapter 5, at the Weasley’s home. And, here it is, her hair is described as mousey-brown. Wormtail has got the same hair colour in the Pensieve scene from OoP. One might think it would be awkward to find him sitting at the Weasley table, but he has lived with them for 12 years, so that is not too strange. And it’s not much of a surprise that he leaves the moment Harry enters.
Chapter 5 also gives an explanation how Wormtail could have imitated Tonks’s Metamorphmagus ability (I guess Polyjuice Potion doesn’t do the trick, but there’s no way of knowing about this). Arthur introduces us to Metamorph Medals, magical devices to change appearance at will. We also learn that they are flawed, that you „mostly turn a fairly unpleasant colour“ (note: mostly!).
Which means, to pretend being Tonks, Wormtail uses a Metamorph Medal, and as it is not perfectly reliable, he manages to look like her, but cannot get rid of his natural hair colour. So Tonks has problems with her Metamorphosing, as Hermione tells us, not because of her emotional struggle about Lupin, but because she is truely not herself.
The next time we see Tonks is in chapter 8, after Draco has stunned Harry in the Hogwarts Express compartment. Now, remember that she also appears at the Three Broomsticks before the necklace attacks Katie Bell, and in front of the Room of Requirement. See the pattern? All these incidents are connected to Draco! Why?
Because Snape is obliged to keep an eye on Draco. And at Spinner’s End, Wormtail is introduced to us as Snape’s assistant. HBP didn't explain what Wormtail was supposed to do for him. This could be the solution. Consider that Wormtail could indeed be very useful to Snape that way. Snape has to teach classes and do spywork for the Order, so it’s good to have someone who helps him with his task to watch Draco. It also neatly ties into how Snape knew that Draco was responsible for the necklace. So now we can imagine how Wormtail became Tonks in disguise, and why.
Speaking of Snape, we see brief interaction between him and Tonks in chapter 8. We haven’t seen that before, so we do not know if he treats her snidely on a regular basis. But we did see him treat Wormtail in a similar fashion.
During this unfriendly welcome Snape mentions Tonks’s new Patronus. Which was a surprise to me, because Rowling had stated a few days before the release, in the FAQ Poll, that a wizard’s Patronus is unique. So, being fully immersed into my theory by now, that sounded like she wanted to give us a clue here.

This was funny to me.
I really can't see JK doing this because that would mean that Wormtail was seducing Remus and this is children't book, while this might make for very interesting if not disturbing fanfiction I can't see it in the books. Although she makes some good arguments
I think it would be more logical to think that Remus and Tonks' relationship is supposed to distract you from;
1) Remus being bad - and i really don't want this to happen.
or
2) She and Snape will end up together.
Think about it: While her being in love with Lupin distracts from Snape fancing her it also sets up the possibility that she might return those feeling as she seems to like older men.
I perfer this one.
Because There are far too many Snape/Lucius fanfictions and they're making me think that Snape may be sort of gay ( Those writers were far more convincing with it than I thought they would be). I don't think giving him a love interest could hurt.
Anyway, I have decided that my fiction is readable and I have a direction that I can go with it, so here's the link.
Read and Review even though you think the idea of them being together is repulsive.
