yeah pockets u got a point.
But i've a feeling Dumbledore is coming back, because - we all like Harry potter because wat we like happens.
Not wat we expect But wat we like. The common opinion (except for some people) in this forum is for Dumbledore to come back, so he most likely will.
Also Snape is so working for Dumbledore, i mean he could have seriously hurt Harry when Snape flees in the last book, but he doesnt. Instead he kind of advices Harry not to use Dark magic. Almost like Snape is guiding Harry to finally kill LV.
And the most disturbing thing is why dumbledore tells Harry to where the Invisibility Cloak and then does the body bind spell on him. Almost if he wants a spectator to witness wat snape does.
And finally wat Pensive said before - the Astronomy Tower thing. I also want to add that when LV kills his father (Tom Riddle) he is still left sitting on the chair, but Dumbledore is sent flying out of the tower.

Hmmm, Yeah. Theories don't really need to be right ( I mean look at Aristotle, He just made up theories about what he saw and after years and years we found out that he was totally wrong) I won't get into the whole evolution theory argument, but I think you all get the idea.
Going back to the thread, I think that DD could be alive, but I just don't see he playing an important part in the last book. That's why I think he will appear at the end, or after Harry has defeated Voldermort ( If he does)

| After reading though this more I have changed my mind about what I said earlier. I now strongly believe that Dumbledore will return it will shock those who thought he was dead and make everyone who said he was alive happy. |

If dumbledore came back then why cant his parents return because dumbledore is only mortal so why couldnt other mortals come back. this point here is the reason why i think dumbledore wont return in full flesh because know one can come back from the dead not even the greatest of wizards like dumbledore can

No hard proof, but some pretty question-raising clues.
One thoery no one has mentioned is that Snape and Dumbledore could have planned to fake his death, but Snape could have really killed him...or vice versa. Perhaps their plan went wrong, or snape disobeyed him somehow.
I however, am pretty inclined towards what it says here ..

I'm truly hoping that she will decide to bring back both Sirrius and Dumbledore..but im not so sure that she will...with the deaths of these two important people Harry has matured and became a stronger man.

I dont think Dumbledores dead I think it's his twin brother because JK only meantion him once and then you never heard of him again. What do you think? agree?

Nah… I think D faked his own death but I could be wrong, however the chances of me being wrong are 0.1% out of a 100% and may I remind you all that there is always a 0.1% marginal error.

To get his enemies to think he was dead so he could operate in the shadows without them knowing and to give Harry a bigger sense of responsibility.

Maybe he knew Harry had to fight alone and plus he said he wanted to die while he was dying but he wanted Snape.

i guess it really could be anything. but i haven't read the books since the last one came out..i really have lost all my facts lol..i hope that everyone that was good and died will come back and it will all be a happy family but i know that won't happen.

I think Dumbledore may come back as a ghost. Perhaps he did not have a "well-organized" mind, because it was so full of worry about Voldemort, or because he had too many unanswered questions or unacheived goals in relation to defeating Voldemort.

Are you sure about that Sirius thing?? She described, as well as DD's death (which makes me think thay will come back, as ghosts or whatever, a light, a wand, I don't know) is how shrtly she described it... besides, Sirius fell behind a curtain, nothing else.. there was no body... at least with DD there "was" a body... goddamit! I hate JKR right now... to much thinking...
