if voldie poured his soul into ginny, she had two souls in her? makes her sorta like a horcrux then.

I just wanted to add that the 16 year old Tom Riddle apparently knew what was going on. Maybe he knew from Ginny's thoughts or she told him, but he knew that Harry had been the reason, many many years later why he had lost his body, so it's not like he was just the school version of Riddle, he was much more.

didn't he say Ginny talked incessantly about "great good Harry Potter" or something like that? Harry wasn't his target until Ginny told him why Harry was so famous.

16 year old Riddle(in the diary) didnt know about Harry and his triumph over Voldemort until Ginny spelled it out in the diary.

ginny was obsessed with the diary...as any other horcux it tooked strength from the victim...tom was getting stronger as ginny spended more and more time with the book
