I spend a lot of my free time developing my websites. I can't wait to start making money off of them so that I can quit my job and work on my own. I currently do web programming for the local city government, but once I can support myself, I'll be self-employed. Unfortunately, it takes forever to develop enough, and the right, sites to generate a profit. Slowly over the last few years of work, I'm getting there.

Besides websites, I play video games, especially first-person shooters on the PC. I have a weekly poker night with my friends. And currently, I am spending a lot of time planning my wedding that's coming up in September.

I am horse-obsessed Very Happy I love riding, and looking after horses (although there are days when I don't particuarly love mucking out in the pouring rain!)

Aside from horses, I'm interested in wildlife and animals in general. I like swimming too, but I don't get a lot of time to do it. Last year I started to learn to scuba dive, and I'm hoping to continue that.

And of course I enjoy reading (Harry Potter obviously, but other books too!) I write a bit of fanfic, mainly for the Animorphs fandom. I'll probably write some Harry Potter stuff once the series is finished- until it is, I prefer discussing what will happen in Book 7. I read quite a bit of fanfic for Harry Potter though.

I haven't seen anyone with the same interests as me either, so you're only as weird as I am! (Actually, that's pretty weird- you're probably a whole lot less weird than me!) But having a wide range of interests is great, because then we could maybe get introduced to a sport or hobby we might not have tried otherwise! Very Happy

I do a lot of needlepoint (embroidery, cross-stitch, etc.). If anyone has patterns they'd like to hand over for free, I would really appreciate it! I've been looking for fantasy-type stuff--dragons, faeries, things of that nature--but all the good ones I've found online are EXPENSIVE!

I'm also into bugs--mostly looking at breeds of butterflies and spiders and beetles--and most other animals. I love watching Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel, especially during Shark Week. I love marine animals and also primates. Does anyone know anything about a primate that has the face of a human? My brother and I are going nuts trying to figure out the name of this animal. He says it's kind of creepy-looking, but we've Googled everything we can think of and can't find either a picture or a name for this thing.

I've recently gotten into horses as well. My father's been breeding Tennessee Walking Horses for years now, and while I lived in Minnesota with my boyfriend, I got to know Arabians, which are really beautiful but have kind of nasty dispositions sometimes. A couple of weeks ago, one of my dad's horses had a colt. We named him Prince William.

I like cooking, too. I experiment a lot--try new combinations of flavors. I would like to go to culinary school someday--when I'm not working so much and have enough money to pay tuition. This past week I made candied meatballs. The glaze was made of grape jelly, mustard, sage, and garlic. Very interesting and pleasing flavor. Anybody got some "different" recipes to share?

I like to read (Hp, LotR, Eragon, PotS, etc), watch movies (From Hell, Love Actually, Imagening Argentina, Rat Race), listening to music (everything). Sometimes I write short (Hp) fanfics, and I also like to make avatars, sigs, collorizes, backgrounds etc...Link
I'm also into horses, and I wish I had one myself, (on the other side, I can pick.)
I'm a member of www.wizardzone.nl and I've recently started www.hopesanddreams.multiforum.nl (These are both Dutch site's)

And I'm very proud of being first during the club championships... (dressage). (In the past have I won third and second price in turning (clubs) (or gymnastics or whatever it may be in English...) but don;t practice that sport anymore)

My only problem is that I always get a lot of homework and little time left after I've finished that.
(But this week is vacation!!! So now I'm bored instead of stressed... ROTFLMAO )
