I seriously have to disagree in regards to the third movie. The Phoenix is my favorite storyline and....It got brutalized by that movie.

Spoiler:

My favorite part of any of the movies was in the second one when Magneto used his powers to pull all of the pins out of the grenades. That was so evil

That was featured in the mini series The Phoenix Endsong so I wasn't as moved by it in the movie.

I felt like the Phoenix was Magneto's Lapdog

Magneto is smart enough to say "Oh no! I am NOT touching that."

I liked the comics better *Is actually re-reading the Dark Phoenix Saga*

And by default, I hate Scott Summers

But the guy that played him did an AMAZING job.

It was the Cartoon that got me into the Phoenix. That was my first obsession...and I'm still obsessed. If you ever get hold of the Dark Phoenix Saga....I HIGHLY suggest you read it. The description is incredible.

I'd have to go with the third one, followed quite closely by the second. It was annoying having people lose their powers or die, but the action and story was the most interesting.

(I haven't read the comics)

You poor souls. The comics are amazing...and I would suspect that even after reading the comics you would still appreciate the movies for what they are.

I would have if I hadn't read the comics first.

If you get the chance, you totally should!

I liked the second one best. I used to be into the comics as a kid, but I really can't sit and read a comic book these days. It isn't aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

2nd is the best. I've never read the comics but I was first brought into x-men by the X-men Evolution cartoon. I like the rogue there better.

The 2nd movie is my favorite out the three.

Bryan Singer > Brett Ratner

X2 is one of the best comic book movies ever made. X3 could have been better if they were more faithful to the source material. Eh, here's to hoping that the upcoming Wolverine and Magneto movies will be better.

the one i've seen the most of is the third. i saw the end of the second, but none of the first.

it seemed pretty good and i wanna see all three start to finnish some day.

the one problem i had though was that at the end of the third one when he kills the crazy lady who's killing everyone without meaning to why couldn't he just cure her? i mean those needle thingis were every where couldn't he have just grabbed one of those and cured her with it??
