I just HOPE he comes back so I might be looking for excuses.
I think he's more resourceful than most and that his abilities might be able to help him come back from behind the Veil. I just think it's interesting we don't know what the Veil really is or what it truly represents yet, so I think I have to hold out hope. _________________

| i don't get why he deserves to come back...harry's parents deserve it more than him. i think Sirius would be proud he went down fighting dark wizards... |

I don't believe it has anything to do with who deserves it, i think Sirius is more likely to come back than any other character because as stated before, we don't know what the Veil is or what is beyond it and if it actually kills the person or just traps them.
We saw Dumbledore die from a curse, we know Lily and James did as well.
But while we are on the subject of who deserves it, why is Sirius' life any less than Lily or James'? After all he was completely innocent.
So I don't see that as an argument. _________________

| But Lily and James are more important to Harry. Would you rather have your godfather return from the dead or your parents you have never seen? |

I'm not arguing it from Harry's point of view, I'm talking from a purely literary standpoint and what has been written in the books.
What Harry wants is irrelevant. I'm sure he wishes that Voldemort would just go away and he wouldn't have to fight him, doesn't mean it's going to happen.
All I'm saying is that if anyone does come back, the only plausible person it can be is Sirius. I'm not saying he will or won't, I'm just saying it seems he can be the only choice.
Other than that, I have no opinion on what Harry would want. I'm sure he'd bring them all back if he could get what he wanted, but he can't, so no reason to theorize about it. _________________

beautiful statement. We know that people are alive at least in essence after entering the vail.... harry could hear voices...or whispers coming from inside... he tried to speak to them but the didnt respond. _________________ NAME: Willow Arbol

I`d choose godfater. Because Harry knew him and was already devoted to him. And Sirius Black was someone for whom Harry would do anything. Whereas his parents were dead and he never knew them. That would probably be too awkward for them to suddenly come back and live with him. He`d have to get to know them from the very start. And as we know James wasn`t like Harry thought he`d be at all. _________________

I agree with you to a point..but although Harry WAS loyal to sirius..he didnt really know him all that well, and didnt really spend a whole lot of time with him.. the reason he was loyal in the beginning *in my oppinion* was not because Sirius was his godfather, but because Sirius was the best friend of James. I think Harry and his Dad would have caught on just as he and Sirius had... just as Harry and Lupin had. _________________ NAME: Willow Arbol

well... probably. But still...
Harry and Sirius didn`t get a lot of time to spend together but that`s why Sirius`s death hurt so much. Sirius was introduced to Harry as fast as taken away. You know what I mean? They were just starting to get on really well. _________________

I know exactly what you mean. Harry was just starting to rely on Sirius for things he couldn't ask for from anyone else - and then bam! Bellatrix kills him! Harry really needed Sirius more than anyone else - even more than Ron and Hermione, even, I think. _________________ *~The one and only...Mrs. Crawford!~* |

At the time in question I think that Harry needed Sirius more than Ron or Hermione....but in the end *as in book 7 and the epilogue* it was different _________________ NAME: Willow Arbol

I do not dispute that he misses sirius..it is just my thinking that Harry is very independent, and doesnt really NEED sirius in the end.. but of course he misses him _________________ NAME: Willow Arbol
