So I just heard they are finally making the Hobbit into a movie, directed by Del Toro, who opted for it rather than direct DH. Imdb says that they'll be making it into two movies, which I don't understand at all. I don't think there's enough story to go around. the first part is set to come out in 2010 and the second 2011 though they plan to shoot them simultaneously.
and here's some random fun for you

It makes little sense to me why they are turning it into two stories. And I can't believe Del Toro chose The Hobbit over Deathly Hallows. Well, fine, then. Be that way... we'll find ourselves a better director. _________________

I can definatly see Del Toro directing The Hobbit.
I know he expressed interest in directing Deathly Hallows, I'm kind of glad that he isn't - although the art and scenry would be beautiful, Toro's directing is very serious and Deathly Hallows has humourous parts aswell...
I don't really care who directs as long as they're good, and not David Yates |
