I just thought of something... in Book 3 Lupin says that noone knows what a boggart looks like when alone.

Well, Mad-eye has a a magical eye that can see through objects.

Also, in book 5 when he goes to headquarters, Molly asks if a boggart is in the drawing desk(cabinet) and he says yes.

So, clearly he can what a boggart really looks like...?

The boggarts changes form when the person looks at it. Moody looked at it. So.. it must have changed form.

Must of, it would be impossible to see a boggart in its real form, but it must of been Moody's worst fear so yeah, my opinion.

If Moody DID see the boggart, what if it changes when it KNOWS someone can see it? if it does it would change into moodys worst fear. And he wouldnt panic because he is a highly proffesional Auror and wouldnt go nuts because of a Boggart. And if it did change he wouldnt tell everyone his worst fears he is a proud man. Also what if there is nothing about a boggart to describe? What if it is just a puddle of muck...when it is out of morph... or just a magical mist?

Hmmm... But it didn't change into anything in #3 unless it was seeing someone. The room was full of people, and it only changed into the nearest person's fear for the rest to see. So there is the slimmest possibility that yes, he did see what it looked like.

When Moody looked at it, it looked like his worst fear. Simple.
