i have watched all episodes of south park released so far. its damn funny. but i wont say its the best cartoon i have ever watched.
my favorite episode is the 1 where eric kills scott tennermans parents and feeds it 2 him, dat was hardcore. i thought it was all gonna turn out 2 b a dream, but it didnt.

i've become a huge fan of this show in this last few months 
i love kyle and butters, i've seen the professor chaos episodes, they're awesome 
but i have to say that its a bit extreme and racist sometimes, mostly because of cartman of course, and i find some episodes to be disgusting (like one where they eat with the ass and shit through their mouths eeww)
but as ravvy said, i like a lot that it is very open about controversial subjects and its not afraid to make fun of anything or anyone

there are insults and jokes about almost everything, the thing is that sometimes it is taken to far
personally, i dont remember there being any joke about anything that i can feel identified with and even then i can see how it can be insulting to some ppl

I think the factthat Cartman makes the racist comments is what makes it funny. He's like the voice of the absurd. And he always ends up looking like a fool when he says those things. Everytime one of the other kids tells him to shut up, it is almost empowering, lol.

i love the show and i always watch it, i have seen most episodes, but i really think it can sometimes be a bit insulting and ppl can get offended by it, specially since sometimes it isnt only cartman the one doing the insulting

yeah, i guess here is an example, you may not be bothered by the chinese jokes that much cause u know they really dont mean any harm, but i get that ur father may be offended by it
although im against banning, so if u are old enough, u should be allowed to watch it

The theme is never outwardly racist though. Sure there are a few racist characters, but generally they depict a negative view of racism, and the message is almost always against racism.

i guess thats true, they do usually have the good message at the end, or at least show the ridiculous of the situation when there's racism
but i dont know, it has yet to make an episode where i can relate to the thing they critizise to say wether it can be insulting or not, i know for a fact that there are ppl who hate it cause they feel offended by it
my parents have never watched it but im sure they would consider it an insult if they did
