Yeah, I forgot to post about that. It seemed a little stupid to me, and then I was kind of confused. She just turned into a ton of crabs and then a storm came. It was really weird at that part. I can probably say that was the stupidest part of the movie.

Here's what I think, to answer your question.
1. I think that Davey Jones had tentacles like he did because he failed to do his job of helping the people who died at sea cross over. So if that's true, then Will must've been doing his job of helping them, therefore, no tentacles.
2. If not, them maybe it depends on the heart. Maybe because Will's heart is somehow pure or something like that, he can still retain his features without worrying about getting all icky. :p
