Hi everyone! Some of the long-term members here have created a chatroom for members of the PF community to participate in. Typically most people are on in the evening, the same time that there's a lot of people on PF. The record for most users online at the same time is 22, set on 2/9/2008 @ 6:30pm EST.

In addition to having fun chatting, we have a bot that can tell you the weather, has games, and also provides Trivia and UNO for entertainment. It's a great place to just hang out and get to know some of the other members on here, as well as just a place to hangout if you're bored. *** Note: This is not a Harry Potter chat room. We try to keep all the Harry Potter talk on the forum. So please do not enter the chat room expecting to talk about Harry Potter all the time.

If you don't have java, or the java page doesn't work, try http://embed.mibbit.com/?server=irc.ipocalypse.net&channel=%23potterpals&noServerNotices=true&noServerMotd=true (more like Flash)
Another option you can choose, for even more functionality, is downloading an IRC client program. A list of IRC clients can be found here: http://www.wyldryde.org/software/ - If you have Firefox, I suggest using ChatZilla. Otherwise, I suggest XChat. This page can help you setup XChat --> http://www.wyldryde.org/a/001008.php - A lot of other members use IceChat, I myself use mIRC. All of them are free to use.

A few rules for this topic:
1. Absolutely no fighting in this topic. No disputes, started on PF or the chatroom, are to be present in this thread.

4. If you find yourself banned from the chatroom, this thread is not the place to discuss it. Please check the chat rules page.

Lol I didn't, the gif is from the video of the Boosh performing the song which happens to be called Eels. That's why I always say "EELS!"
