No, I don't think its true. Although I must admit she isn't that attractive, she has the Ginny attribtues.

Well, obviously Ginny wasn't given enough screen time to show that she's a tough girl so which is probably why you think Bonnie is too shy or not feirce enough to play Ginny. Also, this whole series is unfolded through Harry's vision so I guess, in the movie, they're only showing what Harry sees. And as for Ginny, Harry will see her in a new light in the next film. Her beauty and ferorcity might be highlighted in HBP.

I have to disagree with your opinon on Rupert. He is, easily, the best actor out of the trio. It seems like you haven't read any of the books, because clearly Ron is scared that Voldemort has returned. And he is a weaker character than Harry and is hesitant at everything that could be potentially dangerous. Take a look at his quidditch keeping abilities, and when Harry tells Ron all the time that he's seeing Voldemort in his dreams and when they travel to London to resccue Sirius (I'm talking about the books and how they are paralled with Ron's constant 'scared' attitude in OOTP movie).

I think Bonnie Wright is a perfect Ginny! She's really pretty in my opinion also. I don't think she needs to be blonde either, expecially because i am blonde and Ginny is suppost to have red hair.

But Michael Gambon's version of Dumbledore just makes me cry. I don't know if he's a good actor in other movies or whatever because I haven't seen any of his other movies but no offence I hate him as DD.

i personally believe that Bonnie Wright has the attributes to portray Ginny effectively, just wondering if the film will show her in the Ginny we see in the books, have to admit the lines Ginny had in GoF were very Ginnyesque so to speak so it will probably work very well.

Bonnie Wright is definitely well-suited for Ginny's character. They don't need to replace her and in fact they aren't planning to do so. You see, the HBP behind-the-scenes available for viewing in YouTube shows that Bonnie is still part of the HP Series and she will definitely portray Ginny.

I don't see any reasons of why WarnerBros. should replace her...She's not hideous...not at all...and she's got the talent. If you want proofs, just check out her filmography and watch her films and tv appearances as well.


Bonnie can definitely relate to her character ,Ginny, who has an exceptional talent in Quidditch because Bonnie is an athletic gal. She loves surfing!

Try to visit her official website...So Bonnie! There you'll see most of her recent pics. She's absolutely gorgeous and she looks more mature now particularly when she attended Emma Watson's 18th birthday.

And please, please don't worry about what she might look like in the movies...I'm pretty sure that the make-up artists will definitely develop her prominent face features...Just wait and see...that much-awaited "blazing look" will definitely be achieved!

P.S. Please do know more about a person before making judgements.

i think she is really good actress. they just wouldnt replace her for no legible reason. that would cause a lot of controversy and they really couldnt afford any more after the whole religious thing.

i think she is perfect. and i agree, this thread is about gin
