I'm taking the class "1960's" at school right now.
My teacher keeps playing music from then.
Yesterday was the Beatles, today was the Beach Boys. ;x

creedence clear water, the band(not officially until the 60's) and led zeppelin didn't start until the late 60's but dam they were good. and you can't forget david bowie came out with space oddity in 1969. oh and i almost forgot the the who and velvet underground. dam the 60s was great for rock and roll. and you cant spell rock and roll without elvis. dont forget 1968 was his comeback year. it almost makes me wish i lived in the 60's. maybe then i could actually hear some good music on the radio.

The monkees started as a TV show. You can get them on DVDs, also probably in reruns. According to rumors, some of the members could not play instruments when the show started, but did eventually learn. The show was fairly stupid, with the group having assorted adventures and breaking into song at various points. One of the members was the driving force in starting MTV.

That is true, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith refused to plan anyhting else but the guitar, Davy Jones, who was 5 feet and 3 inches tall could not play the drums unless he stood up because he miraculously dissapeared behind the drumset once sitting down... so they made Mickey Dolenz play the drums... he had no clue how and he learned to play left handed... even though he was right handed... interesting facts that i got from my mom... the rabid monkees fan who still thinks Davy Jones is hot... the shortest man in the world...

anyone find it creepy she knew how tall he was... i looked it up on wiki... she was right...
