my friends told me that nintendo bought the rights for halo they are making this for the wii
IS this true????

I highly, highly, highly doubt it. The cost would be astronomical, assuming Microsoft would even allow it. Having Halo be an XBox only title (for consoles -- PC is different) is too powerful of a marketing tool for Microsoft. Some people buy XBox's just to have the ability to play Halo, or other XBox only games. It's similar to Mario games. You don't see them on XBox or PS3 because Nintendo wants to keep them specifically for their system and drive their sales.

I want SSB so bad, but I ended up with a XBOX360 because Wii's were all sold out. I don't regret it. I get sore arms after playing 20 min+ of Wii for the next few days.

| Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo are competitors in the gaming industry, they would never do something like that. And yes I know Halo is from Bungie but I think Microsoft holds the rights and they aren't gong to sell them and lose money. |

Well the whole thing bout them being competitors and not doing something like that aint entirely true. Wasn't GTA an exclusive Sony title until Rockstar let Xbox own it too? So, sometimes it is possible for these companies to hand the others the rights to their games. I guess its worth it if the other companies offering good money for it.

Did any of you know that Halo was origionally a game made for the Mac? Just an intresting litle fact I'd put out there...
But ya... each system seems to have it's on game seriese that it has out... Except for the Playstation.... can anyone thing of a title that the PS3 is known for.... Tomb Raider maybe??
