As of today, here at my parent's house in VA it is $2.95...
According to gasbuddy.com......when I go back to school in NY it will be...$3.29! Sweet that's 20 cents cheaper then when I left! |

Gas prices are completely out of control. It used to take me 10 dollars to fill up my car. Gas prices have more than tripled, so it costs me over 30 dollars for one tank. _________________

Yeah, we need to get rid of those things before the problem gets worse. _________________

Whoa what kind of car do you have that fills for 10? Gas is about 3.19 here. Takes about 45 to fill my car up, sucks cause i have to put premium in it. Fortunately the gas tank in my current car is smaller than in my old car. _________________

It's times like these when we need to take age differences into account. Ginny and I can remember a time when a tank of gas cost only ten dollars . . . or course, I wasn't old enough to drive yet . . .
I was never able to fill my tank up for $10. I didn't get my first car until I was 19, and gas prices were straddling that $2 line then. _________________

:O omygod what are you lot moaning at? you Americans get a gallon of fuel for about £2.00 english money and to put it into perspective we pay about £1.09 a LITRE!!!!!! so a gallon of fuel costs us about £5.00 or $10.00 roughly _________________

I just did the conversions off of the costs you gave and 1.09 GBP per liter is 4.13 GBP per gallon, or $8.16 USD per gallon (using current conversion rates). OUCH! _________________
