Spoiler:

Definitly Fred, its so sad to think of one twin without the other. Its like when you think it would be easier for both to die rather then have one go on living without the other. Thats why I think its fitting that Tonks and Lupin died together, but Fred and George... thats just heartbreaking.

Also, WHY DIDNT WE GET MORE ON FREDS DEATH? We got a whole load on Dobby which was good, it gave him a proper send off, but with Fred we didnt see anything about George after Fred died... I spent all of the rest of the book looking for something on Fred, and all we got was an image of him lying there? I wish we could have had something for Fred like we had for Dobby. We didnt even see George in the 19 Years Later part... -sigh-

You left out Crabbe! His death impacted me most because he was just a kid. Even though he was a dirty, mean kid he was still a child subject to make judgement errors. Wasnt his fault it was his parents fault for poor upbringing. So the poll should have that addition dont you think?

As far as the rest. Think about this. The dark sorcerers and death eaters were all using death curses while all of the good witches and wizards were using whimpy stun spells and jinxes. Did you all not think the good guys were gonna have a lot of em die? I'm surprised the death toll was as low as it was! Rolling Eyes Razz

To me... Fred, Tonks, Lupin and Colin.
Fred just because I kind of liked him, funny character.
Lupin always had a great impact in harry's life and i liked him too.
Tonks, nothing special to say about her but she was a character that i simpathized with.
Colin because he was just a kid and i remebered him like the FAN of harry potter.

Dobby's death was the only one that brought tears to my eyes, and so I'd say his death impacted me the most. And it was beautifully written too. *tear*

I was suprised by Tonks, but not by Lupin's death. I had a feeling the marauders were cursed like that when Sirius died. When I read that Wormtail had killed himself, I thought "That's it, Lupin's as good as gone now." And it was so bluntly written, I couldn't really feel anything for them even though thay are two of my favourite characters. Although Lupin's behaviour was a tad out of place for my liking.

Now, Snape's didn't have that much impact on me at the time of reading, but now, I think it may be more devastating than Dobby's. I had an inkling he'd die but I am so gutted that he did. *sobs* And in such a brutal way too :'(

Wormtail didn't really kill himself. Voldemort made him, using the magic hand that he had given him, kill himself at the first sign of hesitation.

Mad Eye's and Snape's; I loved those two characters so much. It's understandable why Rowling killed them off, though. Fred and Colin Creevy, on the other hand...

Spoiler:

Snape's death saddened me. I had actually managed to figure out that he was working for Dumbledore...and I had always suspected he had a thing for Lily....But I never realized to what extent that 'thing' was.

But the death that got to me the most was Harry's. I could feel the tears coming when realizing that Dumbledore had planned for Harry to die from the beginning...and Snape's objections to this. His original reaction of terror was just utterly amazing....I love that entire chapter. And when he called Lily, James, Sirius and Lupin...that was just heart wrenching. I started bawling when Harry asked "Does it hurt?"

So yeah...Harry's death affected me the most.

Gotta have some people die in the ultimate battle. I was however left pretty cold at this "giant" battle? If this was suppose to be the ultimate fight where were the other schools? Was this just an England battle??
Was disappointing the battle wasnt all out with every school around the world like it shouldve been. Rolling Eyes Mad

I never really gived a damn about snape's death, for me, all the other deaths are so much importante than snape's, i never really liked him a bit.
mad eye's, what the hell...
crabbe, dobby, not that i didn't like them but those death's weren't important to me.
the one's that really messed up with my head were: fred's, tonks, lupin and hedwig.

Spoiler:

Definitely Dobby's death. I think the way Jk described the death also contributed to the pain. I cried and cried when he was buried and everything because I had visions of the times when Dobby came and helped Harry in the CoS, GoF and HBP!

And FRED?!?!?! That was soo unexpecting! I loved the twins.

I knew Lupin was going to die, so it wasn't a surprise but he was one of my favourite characters. Snapes death really affected me as well... those last words made me realise he was innocent after all (for all those Snape-sceptics like me Smile) "Look... at.... me..." *sniffs*

I'm not going to lie to you, I grieved for Hedwig. Lol, a gazillion other people died and yet, I was the most shocked when Hedwig went up to birdy heaven. RIP birdy!!
I was really sad when Lupin died too, but it was really obvious that he was going to be killed off.

Snape - but rather because of the way he died... I kinda knew he would die so I was prepared...
Fred - I can't imagine George without him...

Did anyone else get all upset over Lupin just because it was Lupin and not because of Teddy or the additional death of Tonks? This one got to me the most, just because I have loved Lupin with the fire of a thousand suns since the fourth book.

I did!!!! I loved Lupin since the begining and I cried my eyes off at is death... The last of Marauders... I guess Lupin's death comes right after Snape's for me ;____;

I was very shaken when Hedwig died because it hit me that... wow, no one is safe. Mad-Eye was written as a character who had been through so much and was so stable... I actually wasn't surpised. Dobby's death of course shaked me, I was very upset.

Fred though.... his poor twin. And just when he had made up with Percy. Fred was the most outspoken about his anger for Percy. And then Percy tells a joke... which lets Fred die laughing. Just as he would have wanted it. Crying
