| I dont think Snape even loved Lily. did'nt one of the books say that Snape hated Lily and called her Mudblood? Hmm maybe i'm just confusing that with fanfiction.. i dont know. |

yeah he indeed called her mudblood. but i was thinking that snape doesnt know how to express himself, so he became defensive and called her that. im pretty sure he wouldnt have called her that if they were alone. but since james was there, he became all defensive, as if to say "i dont like her" when in fact, he does like her, except that he knew that james would never let it rest if he found out. so he called her a mudblood.
