It was late into the night when Joe was strolling a forest just off his neighborhood. He had spent most of the night walking around in thought of a few things carrying nothing but his wand. The night of full moon never registered in his mind during his entire stay in the forest until he heard the first howl of a werewolf not too far away.

mortabella was walking in the woods as well, when she heard that very same, piercing howl of a werewolf.

Joe stopped in his tracks at the sound of the howl. He took a good look around before he heard two more howls close by. Groaning inwardly, Joe sighed. Oh great... Now I'll have to deal with a lot of werewolves before I can go home.. Nice way to spend the evening...

Joe extinguished his wand to chance of drawing attention to himself. He moved knowingly through the forest, hearing more howls from behind him. Well, now I know where they are...

Kaizer had been alert since they had first heard the werewolves, so he was making sure that Joe wasn't attacked from behind. 'You really picked the perfect night to be out this late... With werewolves, no less!' Kaizer scolded the boy quite sarcastically.

I don't need you telling me otherwise, Kai, Joe retorted.

Before Kaizer could think up of a comeback, his instincts went off like crazy before shouting into Joe's head. 'Get out of the way!'

Joe jumped to the side, clear of the obvious pounce of the unexpected werewolf. Upon careful observation, Joe's eyes widened at recognizing the werewolf to be Professor Lupin.

Joe turned to see a woman there, having just stunned Lupin as he got onto his feet. He shook his head. "No, he didn't," he replied, looking back at the werewolf. "But there're more werewolves nearby, though..."

Watching as the woman ran off for who he clearly heard as Fenrir, Joe turned his attention to the Lupin-werewolf. Fenrir Greyback... he thought to himself as he took a step forward. "Professor Lupin?" he called, fiddling with his fingers, ready to summon Kaizer should he need to.

Fenrir steps through the croud, he was the only one of the werwolves to have the potion to stay master of himself.
He walks up to Mortabella, an slightly nods his head,"This is as many as I could muster on such short notice, give me another day, and I'll have twice as many wolves from all of the islands." He then notices Joe, he smiles wickedly," Ooh fresh meat, so happy to know you saved a little one for me...... O get up you usless ouff Lupin." He starts clauing up Lupin.

When Remus had disappeared, Joe thought it better to follow where Mortabella had ran off to. Better to be looking for Greyback and deal with him now before anything else happens... he told himself.

He stopped in his tracks when he saw Greyback and Mortabella. Suddenly, a wave of rage overpowered Joe as he summoned Kaizer, his entire form emanating an orange glow. "I would rather you not underestimate me, Greybacl," Joe told him.

Greyback lets out a howl that forms into a laugh," You think to much of yourself." He lets out a series of barks and snarls. The werwolves circle Joe in so there is no escape." Not much to underestimate now but a boy with an injured arm, aaaooooowwhahahah."

This time, it was Joe who laughed. The werewolves had indeed surrounded him, but he didn't care. He eyed Greyback as he held up his 'injured' arm. "So you think that this arm of mine is injured, do you?" he asked as he ignited it in flames. "I'd have to inform you that you're sorely mistaken about that."

Smirking, Joe intensified the flame erupting from his arm as he went into position to face Greyback, who had jumped towards him, breaking from the circle the werewolves had formed. Joe was ready for him. But before anything, Joe was distracted by someone's voice bellowing, "CRUCIO!!"

Joe was thrown off his feet as he landed roughly on the ground, screaming in pain as he frantically tried to fight it off. Lucius Malfoy emerged with his wand pointing at the boy, the curse still on him. The man's pale face was maddening.
