....AKA ASOUE.
Anyone read it?It's one of my favorite series along with Harry Potter!
It's about three orphans named Violet,Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire, who are followed everywhere by Count Olaf ,who uses various disguises so he can kidnap them and steal their fortune!Later on,they try to solve the mysteries of a secret organitzation and run from the authorites because Count Olaf disguised himself as a detective in one book and accused them of doing a crime,so most people in the books now believe that the Baudelaires are criminals. _________________ Wand:ebony and ivy mixed, raven tears,13 inches, inflexible.

I used to like it. I can read like one of those a day. They are too basic for me. _________________

I read the first three, but not any more. I picked the fourth one up at a second -hand shop, but I still haven't taken the time to read it. _________________

yeah. ive read them all. i love them so much.
i was in like hysterics when the last book came out, cause it was on my birthday and i was like "its meant to be" lol.
but even though i can read one book in a day. i think its good to have those books that i can enjoy, and that i dont have to really concentrate on. . . if that made sense.
but this series is number 2 on my list. its below harry potter, and above the twilight series. _________________

13. Coincidense ? I think not I'm inlove with those books, Snicket (well, Daniel Hadler) has a wicked sense of humor and I love the way he narrates the lifes of the Baudelaire children. When I read the last book, I wanted to burn it, this wasn't a good way to end !!! I must buy the Beatrice Letters soon. _________________

I followed the series to the end, but haven't touched them since last year. The ending was a tad bizzare. Too bad Snicket isn't writing more; the end of the series raised more questions than the beginning did. _________________ "Lily Angorian has a heart like a boiled stone."

Sorry, don't like it. Too much narrations that make it obvious. _________________

Used to read the books and I have the FULL collection but I kinda got fed up after I finished the vile village, I think and gave them to my sister. So the 7th book is the furthest I got. I missed the second book out because the first ever book I read was the 3rd one and then I read the 1st one a few years later but before I could start the second one, the movie came out so I watched it and thought that I didn't need to read the 2nd book seeing as I saw the basic events of it in the movie. _________________ "My Logic is Never without Reason..." |

i read the first 3, picked up the fourth and got to like chapter four got bored. i liked the series but once i put a book down for too long it gets to a point of no return where i'm never going to finnish it. the one exception being when i had to reread GoF because i lost my place and forgot about it for 6 months.
anyway i wanted to read more of the series but i couldn't help but get thisfeeling that it would never end, but now i find out it did end, so i'm intrigued... _________________

I red up to book 9 or 10 before I got bored.
Plus, the movie ruined it for me, it was so horribly done! |
