It's the closest animated tv show to actual Japanese anime, so it's considered anime by a lot of people. Go to HMV or any other music/video store. Where are the Avatar DVD's? In the anime section.
I'm not saying anything against you, it isn't an anime, but it is considered one.

It's not considered anime at all. People just don't know how to sort it. Even if it could be found in the anime section, it doesn't make it anime.

I LOVE Avatar ( I actually preferred it over HP for a while o_o ).
Does anyone notice all these similarity between Zuko and Harry? xD Scarred, ansgty teenagers with very tragic pasts? Lol. Plus both of their mothers had to sacrifice something to keep their sons alive.

The French made Code Lyoko, not Avatar.
I like Avatar, it's an amusing cartoon, even if not official anime.

I still havn't seen any of season 3. I set my tv(I've got the DVR) up to record the show, and all i get is season one and two episodes. I've already seen just about all the episodes from the first two seasons, and didn't even know season 3 was coming on until my friend was talking about the last episode of it.
Also, Avatar isn't anime? How is that? I mean, anime is just short for animated, and the show's obviously animated. |

Anime is short for Japanese animation. It wasn't made by the Japanese.
