What do you think of this list?
Have you read any of the novels listed? I've read Watchmen, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Animal Farm, _________________

I've read The Bridge of San Luis Rey, amazing book.
I recently just checked out to Kill a Mockingbird
and I'll probably be a reading a couple more of those,
because some are on the required summer reading lists
for highschools in my area. _________________

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret
by Judy Blume
The Catcher in the Rye
by J.D. Salinger
The Great Gatsby
by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Lord of the Flies
by William Golding
1984
by George Orwell
To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
There are great books that I didn't see there! Here are some that I think should have been on that list:
Canterbury Tales
by Geoffrey Chaucer
The Scarlet Letter
by Nathaniel Hawthorne
Gulliver's Travels
by Jonathan Swift
Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West
by Gregory Macguire
The Other Boleyn GIrl
by Phillippa Gregory
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
by J.K. Rowling
These are both old and modern classics that make great reads. _________________

I've only read 4 of them, Animal Farm, Are you there God? It's Me Margret, Lord of the Flies, and To Kill a Mockingbird.
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorite books of all time, it's a classic. The other 3 are good too. I read Are you there God? It's Me Margret a while ago and i remember loving it. The other 2 i read in school and I don't know how much of Lord of the Flies i would have gotten without the discussions we had in class. Animal Farm isn't one of my favorite books, but the symbolism in it is amazing. _________________

I've read quite a few on the list, too lazy to find them all. I don't see Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray. How disappointing.

My bad, I didn't see the Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe. I've read that too, on my own and in school. It's a good book, but i've also read the 1st one in the series and i thought that it was almost as good. _________________

I've read:
Animal Farm
Atonement
Catch-22
The Catcher in the Rye
A Clockwork Orange
Gone With the Wind
The Great Gastby
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Lord of the Flies
The Lord of the Rings
Lolita
Naked Lunch
1984
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
A Passage to India
To Kill a Mockingbird
Part of Mrs. Dalloway and To the Lighthouse
I don't like that list. They missed a lot of incredible books, and some that weren't so great were on there. Hmm. _________________

I didn't really like of Mice and Men. Maybe it was because I was forced to read it for school, though. I think The Chosen should be on it. I love that book. x] _________________
