I've taken a look at the book, and came up with this basic schedule:
Monday
* History of Magic, 9:00-10:15
* Herbology (half), 10:30-11:10
* Transfiguration (half), 2:00-2:40
* Quidditch practice, 5:00-6:00 Harry
Tuesday
* History of Magic, 9:00-10:15
* Herbology (half), 10:30-11:10
* Transfiguration (half), 2:00-2:40
Wednesday
* Charms, 9:00-10:15
* Herbology (half), 10:30-11:10
* Quidditch practice, 5:00-6:00 Harry Potter
* Astronomy, 10:30-11:45
* Astronomy lab, 12:00-1:15
Thursday
* Charms, 9:00-10:15
* Defense Against the Dark Arts, 10:30-11:45
* Transfiguration (half), 2:00-2:40
* Flying Lessons, 3:30-4:45 (September 19th to October 17th)
Friday
* Potions (double), 7:30-10:15
* Defense Against the Dark Arts, 10:30-11:45
* Quidditch practice, 5:00-6:00 Harry
Can I have an asprin?

| Do you really think they have 3 hours for lunch? or is that study periods as well? |

There are study periods there. The first years just didn't have classes then.

I was home-schooled, so I'm not sertain how class sceduals go in public schools. However, in "HBP" Harry has three post-lunch periods: free period, free period, DADA. I hate this!

| But like you say, that's HBP, when he would have much more homework, in prepreation for, what would be over in England, A-levels. |

Yeah but Harry's suposed to have Defense Against the Dark Arts on Friday, but also have Friday afternoons off. Of course, I could just write that off as an error. I've detected at least three others in this book.

During Highschool, I had a class that was called earlybird (A class before the regular classes) andit began at 7:15 in the morning. I have a college classes that begin at 7 in the morning. |

| My school starts at 7:15. It sucks. But we get out at like 2, so its not all bad. |
