anyone read this trilogy... i thought that this series was unique... its placed in the future where humanity lives in cities seperated from other cities... and you start out as ugly... or adverage person... then transformed into a pretty... which is the generic yet very pretty ppl at 16... however some ppl want out and thats how this whole tell starts.

I've read them. They are some of the awesomest books ever. Actually, the trilogy is getting another book. If you go to Scott Westerfield's website, it will tell you what the title is, because I'm lazy and don't want to look it up cuz I don't remember it. Very Happy

i've read uglies. i'm going to buy pretties, but i have to wait until my school "book fair" cuz that's where i got uglies last year and i want to get all the books in the same edition....i'm kinda obsessisve that way

but yeah, uglies was good, but i liked the giver better. and the other two books, gathering blue and messenger. they are kinda similar to uglies, and they are better

I went to Barnes & Noble today to get the books that I didn't have yet in another series, and the cashier was like "OOH, I read all these... if you like these you'd love this." and recommended these to me. So I might check them out after the ones I'm currently reading.

I was very into that series. But, as they go on they keep on getting worse and worse. I have read all four and by far the best was Uglies!
