i hate it when there off the island, if it were up to me i would be more than willing to crash on the island. I love the story, its going to get even better next season. Man, 28 day's till season 4 debuts of ABC cant wait, so exited. What do you guy's think will happen??? Heres a short list of what i think.
The people on the frieghter (the frieghties) looked for the island because they were after the black rock, possibly, i remeber reading about how the ship was a slave ship returning back to england carrying gold and slaves.
The frieghter will approach the island and will sink, there will be a few survivors but everyone else will die
Adam and Eve, as locke refered to them during season 1 are Ameilia Earhart, and Fred Noonan
The Losties will discover a new hatch, the Orchid. In it they will find Edgar Hallowax/Mark Wickmund/Marvin Candle. Dead, a gun by his hand.

I watched it for a little while, missed an episode or two then I was totally all questions marks when I watched it again. Never really got into it really.

| They had no idea where they were going in this show after the season, it's like they make it up and improvise as they go along. Just get found already, geez. |

I watched LOST when it first aired on TV but stopped about halfway through the first season as it just got boring. No offence to you LOST lovers out there but I think it's one of the most pointless shows in the world...Well maybe just America lol. I mean, how can people be trapped on an island for 4 seasons? And God knows how many more they'll make!!! I think that draggin it out like this is pointless. One season or a MINI-SERIES is good enough but a full length series??? What the hell is wrong with these people!!!???

It isn’t an ordinary Island, and the fact that the people outside of the Island think that they’ve found the remains of Oceanic Flight 815. And that really is the basic premise of the show; Survivors of a plane crash stranded on a strange Island. But that’s not all the show is about. Let’s not try to simplify things to such a degree, and act like that is all the show is about. If you do that, then the same would apply to nearly every other scripted show out there.
‘Seinfeld is just a show about Jerry Seinfeld and his friends’
‘Arrested Development is just about an eccentric family’
‘Everybody loves Raymond is just about a guy who’s married and lives next door to his parents’
‘Law and Order is just a show about solving crime’
And so on, and so forth. By ignoring character growth and plot development, we essentially ignore what’s really good these shows.

The series is set to end in 2009-2010. Seeing as how it’s 2008 and we’re on season 4, I wouldn’t expect anything more than a total of 6 seasons.

They aren’t dragging it out. As I said before, the show is not just trying to get off the Island. The show is going at a steady pace, and I hope it stays that way. The last thing they need to do is rush into everything. Suspense is one of the key elements of Lost. The Characters in Lost aren’t your generic one-dimensional characters. The show focuses on their past and how they’ve changed since they got to the Island. How some of the characters are somehow connected, without them even realizing it. The show is more than just; ‘people trapped on an Island and trying to get out’.

There would have been no way to properly cover the entire series thus far, in just one season or a mini-series. The first season had 14 major characters, each with his or her, own back-story. The 2nd season introduced a few more major characters, while getting rid of some from the first season. It also revealed more about The Others, and the Island, while fleshing out the main cast some more. You can’t fit everything into a mini-series or one season. There’s a story to be told, and it can’t be done is such a short amount of time. But, I guess you wouldn’t really be aware of that since you stopped halfway through the first season. The show has advanced a lot since then.

Well, I can’t say they’ve done anything ‘wrong’ when talking about the show. They’ve created one of the most critically and financially successful TV shows of all time. There’s nothing wrong with that. They’ve created a show that’s not quite like anything else on TV right now.

Alright Alright! You got me fair and square!  I admit, maybe I was a little HARSH on the show. I aint stupid cos I KNOW that the show isn't ALL about them tryin to escape from an island lol. I do know that character development and SUB PLOTS have to happen. So, it IS a good show and stuff but just not MY type of show. And it IS the most EXPENSIVE show in America at the moment. Maybe when it ends for good, I'll start to watch it from season 1 again. I usually like shows like LOST, I guess. I mean, my favourite shows are Supernatural, Smallville, Heroes and Prison Break They r in the same LEAGUE as Lost I think. Except lost aint FANTASY...Well I don't think it is...

Yeah i watch Lost and i really like it. My friend recommended it to me sometime during season 2 and so i started to watch it. After i'd watched season 3 i decided that i needed to see seasons 1 and most of season two, so for xmas i bought Lost seasons 1,2, and 3.
S P O I L E R S if you are not up to date with lost yet.
My only complaint about the show is that sometimes it seems like the answer to a question is another question and they drag questions on and on when it's unnecessary. Sometimes they simply just don't answer a question. For example Hurley thought he recognized Libby from somewhere and in one of his flashbacks she was in the same mental institution as he was. Then everybody has questions about Libby like why was she there and then all of a sudden she get shot and killed and thats it. |

The creators of Lost have said that Libby might be dead, but her story will still be told. Take that as you will.
