What would be cool is if the 7th movie was depicted word for word, cep't the narrator. To include every scene of the book, along with the characters saying the exact words as they are in the DH.

Well any movie that takes a book word for word isn't going to be very good, because sometimes its hard to show the emotions the narrarator discribes the chara feels.

3-5 hours...there's so much interesting stuff in that book!i think it's going to be a real challenge for directors to put the book in the movie

Series wouldn`t be good, because then it wouldn`t even be like a movie.
But considering how many things is suppossed to be shown and are important it should be around 4 hours.
Oh... I f they don`t show all the important things... beware! Twisted Evil

I think, it should be like a trilogy, in three installments. Therefore you can go see each installment when you want and not get a numb arse from sitting there for 7 plus hours (which for the film to have all the best bits of the book it will have to be 7 plus easily)

although, if it was 5 hours... hell, it'd be the best 5 hours of my life..

if the film is done well.

5 hours of crap wouldn't exactly do the world or watchers any good.

Definitely just 2 - 3 hours. Like in all the other movies, they take stuff out. Like Hermione's S.P.E.W. was left out of GoF.

4-5 hours. That's the only way they can put everything into the film.

My opinion is 2-3 hours, but since I enjoy these movies very much(not close to the books though) I think they should make an extended edition like they did with The lord of the rings! Smile

3 Hours 30mins should be able to cover most of the book

I'd watch the movie if it was 7 hours long. Good thing they are splitting it up into two films. That way, we can have two that are 3 1/2 hours in length!
